The Year of Abiding in the Presence

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

John 15:5 KJV

Brief History of the Ministry

The Extraordinary Ministries vision started on the 9th of September 2018, at the official residence of Pastor T.T. Machigere and Pastor “Ma” R. Machigere in Shawasha Hills, as a small group. On that day a declaration was made by non-members who had gathered for other spiritual purposes, to start with a Sunday service, after the Holy Ghost had spoken.

Over the previous 15 years the visionaries were busy with Hidden Mystery Welfare Ministries Trust, which focuses on the welfare of widows and orphans — ensuring they enjoy a decent Christmas every year and are impacted spiritually through the ministry's monthly all-night prayers, which still boast huge success, attracting many others including youth and couples.

This ministry remains a baby of Extraordinary Ministries through tithes and partnerships, and forms part of the main reason why EMI was ordained by God according to James 1:27 — “Pure and undefiled religion before our God and Father is this: to care for orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”

Our Motto

Ushering people into their inheritance

Our Commitment to Community Work

Impacting widows' and orphans' lives through psycho-social support, spiritual upliftment and empowerment through projects. Building churches, schools, hospitals and meeting any other needs of our society.

Our Mission

  • Re-evangelize the world with the gospel of truth, win souls and make disciples of all nations.
  • Introduce them to the Holy Ghost (Baptism).
  • Make the gospel relevant to their lives (through a simple & practical message).
  • Prepare the church for the 2nd coming of Christ (Parousia) — Jeremiah 29:11.

Core Values

  • Teaching the churches how to be prayerful, in spirit and in truth.
  • Serving God with clean hearts and clean hands — holy living (our reasonable service, Romans 12:1-3).
  • Being compassionate, and caring for the vulnerable.
  • Being born again the Bible way (Romans 10:9-10).
  • Believing in the Trinity (triune) of God and the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
  • Believing in the word of God — the Bible, infallible truth.
  • Salvation by grace (by grace you were saved through faith).
  • Believing in the pulling down of strongholds — wickedness in high places, the heavenlies (Ephesians 6:10).
  • Servanthood and faithfulness.
  • Believing in happy marriages.
  • Believing in an innovative and God-fearing Young People's Union.

Our Objectives

  • Plant and strengthen assemblies across Zimbabwe and beyond.
  • Raise disciples who are grounded in prayer and the Word.
  • Care for widows, orphans and the vulnerable in every community we serve.
  • Build churches, schools and hospitals that serve the nation.
